For immediate counseling call Disaster Distress Helpline’s toll-free number 1-800-985-5990 or via SMS (text TalkWithUs to 66746). This free, confidential, and multilingual crisis support service is also available via SMS to anyone experiencing psychological distress as a result of this event. People who call and text are connected to trained and caring professionals from crisis counseling centers in the network. The Helpline staff provides confidential counseling, referrals, and other needed support services.

Nevada medical care providers agreeing to waive the patient’s portion of their hospital bill:

– St. Rose de Lima Hospital

– American Medical Response

– MedicWest Ambulance


Nevada insurance companies agreeing to waive any patient’s portion of their bills:

UnitedHealthcare, (includes Health Plan of Nevada and Sierra Health and Life) will cover the cost share for the initial course of emergency and trauma treatments for their members who were victims of the attack
